You were awarded a grant - now let people know about it!

A great way to let folks know about your achievement is through a press release. Below is a sample press release that you can tailor to fit your needs. You can also pitch a feature story to the local media once your project is up and running.

You may also want to include a quote from your state Senator and Representative, or other local elected officials. It's a great way to inform them of your award and to ask if they could provide some support to you. They might comment on how public support enables your organization to leverage private funds to reach new audiences, foster community development, provide the highest quality programming, or develop models for integrating the arts into the curriculum.

Please acknowledge the role of your Colorado Creative Industries Grant in your press release.
