DENVER, (February 9, 2007) - Brookfield Properties in cooperation with The Colorado Council on the Arts and Arts for Colorado announce the 11th Annual presentation of Corporate Collections. This exhibit showcases fine art from the collections of Colorado businesses and corporations, providing the public a unique opportunity to view art ordinarily exhibited in a private setting and honors those businesses that support the arts.
Participating companies include The Gates Corporation, Kaiser Permanente, and Qwest. This is a unique opportunity once a year for businesses to share with the general public the diversity of fine art they present in their office environments throughout the year. Businesses outside the Front Range will also be featured this year.
The Opening Reception, hosted by the Colorado Council on the Arts and Arts for Colorado will be held Tuesday evening, February 20th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A special program will begin at 6:00 p.m., featuring remarks by Lieutenant Governor Barbara O’Brien. Also invited to speak are leaders of the Legislative Arts Caucus: Senator Abel Tapia (3), Representative Alice Borodkin (9) Representative Al White (57) and Senator Jack Taylor.
"Corporate Collections 2007” is sponsored by Brookfield Properties, owner and manager of Republic Plaza, located at 370 Seventeenth Street, Downtown Denver, Colorado.
