Ken’s work has taken him all over the country working with the likes of Martin Sheen, Bill Murray, Raquel Welch and most recently with Sting and the Royal Philharmonic.

Ken Seagren has also served as a member of the Colorado Film Commission Board of Directors and is also a long-term supporter of the Colorado Film & Video Association as well as being a Chief Lighting Technician with I.A.T.S.E. Local #728. Ken has worked with artma, Concourse d'Elegance and the Children’s Hospital by donating his time, equipment and stages. For this award Ken was chosen through a process of Advisory Committee selection and voting among his peers and other leaders in the industry.

"Ken Seagren is one of those incredible individuals whose entrepreneurial spirit and abundant creativity have not only inspired us, he has also provided employment for thousands of Coloradans over the decades.  We are thrilled to honor Ken for his many contributions to the industry,” stated Elaine Mariner, Director of the Colorado Creative Industries Division, which includes the Office of Film, Television and Media.
