Colorado’s Wild Residents
January 2020 – April 2020
Colorado’s Wild Residents is an exploration of wildlife in Colorado. This exhibit will take viewers from the Sandwash Basin to the San Juan Mountains to all points in between, no travel required. The selected artworks will be on display at the Colorado State Capitol, including the Governor’s Office, Lieutenant Governor’s Office, basement rotunda, and Legislative Council staff offices.
The goal of the exhibit is to highlight the variety of wildlife that calls Colorado home, while paying homage to the iconic animals that make our state part of the American West. An indelible part of Coloradoans’ experience for generations, five local photographers seek to bring the strength and beauty of these wild residents into the Capitol building for all to admire and enjoy.
Photographers include: Jeff Goudy, Linda Ghent, Holly Simon, Dan Walters, and Lauren Lang.
